July Events Near Henderson, NC

It’s finally Summer in beautiful Henderson, NC, and that means the desire to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather will be at an all-time high after a long Spring indoors. With Raleigh and Durham so close by, there’s never a shortage of things to do, whether it be date nights or events with families and friends. While we still encourage anyone going out in public to take the same precautionary measures you have been with COVID-19, we wanted to highlight some great events that are going on around Henderson this July.

July 3rd – Date Night! Let’s Make Chocolate by The Chocolate Boutique

For most people, the last time they went on a date was probably very early this year or maybe even last year! That’s why The Chocolate Boutique is hosting a special date night on the first and third Fridays of the month where you and your date will take a lesson on how to make what else?! Chocolate! You’ll also be able to sip on a glass of wine or beer, enjoy a chocolate covered strawberry, and will take up to ½ pound of chocolate home with you at the end of the night. The boutique recommends calling and scheduling in advance, so make sure to reserve your seats ASAP. There’s nothing that says romance like chocolate and wine!

July 10th – Haunted History Walking Tour

Although Halloween is still a few months away, it’s never a bad time to have a good scare. Raleigh Walking Tours LLC is hosting a haunted walking tour for anyone brave enough. Open to the public, the spooky tour begins outside of the Governor’s Mansion and will dive deep into real life history and hauntings of some of the more famous landmarks in the city. The tour lasts a little over a mile and is not recommended for children under 14 due to the graphic nature of some of the stories.

July 22nd – Marvel Cinematic Universe Trivia at Your Pie Brier Creek

With bars and restaurants opening back up, you and your friends may be dying to get together again and have a drink. Your Pie Brier Creek is heroically hosting a crazy fun night of Marvel Movie Universe Trivia, where you and your friends will compete in a friendly competition to see who truly knows the Marvel Universe inside and out, from Captain America and Iron Man to Groot and Thanos. There will be five rounds of questions and teams can have up to eight people, so reserve your seats, marathon those movies, order your favorite drinks, and come ready to win!
